The HERO from Stockholm, SWEDEN delivers dark, heavy, and melancholic Metal which seems to appeal to more than “metalheads”. The recipe for The Hero’s music is: Heavy guitars, thundering bass, bombastic drums, and melodic baritone vocals, and at the core always strong melodies that echo long after the audience has gone home. There are six albums released already and now we’re aiming for a seventh one.

The HERO toured USA in the summer of 2017 and among other venues performed at the world-famous “Whisky a Go Go” in Hollywood and also rock clubs around Sweden until COVID-19 struck the world.

The HERO‘s album “MMXX” (Blood Red Music) was released in August 2020 and is as our previous albums available on Spotify, and all other platforms. Since June 2025 this piece is also available through Soundmass Records if you want to own your own copy. We wanna highlight a couple of songs: “The Champion”, “Cold World” and “Deo Gloria”.

November 2024, the album “Monster Hunter” (Soundmass Records) was released, including songs like “We Must Never Forget” and “Don’t give it up”. With the title track “Monster Hunter” we declare war against all kinds of evil in the world right now – and – this is the main theme throughout the new album.

More news is to be announced already during the winter of 2025/2026.
