The Sixsters is a band of five girls who are passionate about music and songwriting. Their sound blends elements of rock, punk rock, and pop rock, creating a unique vibe that’s been noted by the great amount of people around the world. The band started its’ journey back in 2018 in Ukraine, but due to the current situation in their home country, the girls had to flee. Currently, the girls are based in Essen, DE, where they continuing mastering their craft and building the career.
Despite being in Germany for just two years, The Sixsters have already achieved a great success. In 2022, The Sixsters released their English album “I’m Gonna Be,” which received great amounts of positive reviews from the fans and listeners. The Sixsters have also been touring during the last couple of years, playing at some of the coolest festivals across Europe, including Open Flair Eschwege (DE), Essen Originale (DE), and even the legendary Glastonbury in the UK, all between 2022 and 2023. Additionally, in 2023, The Sixsters proudly became endorsers of Fame Instruments (Music Store, Cologne, DE). This partnership has had a significant impact on the recognition of the brand as well as the band itself, as The Sixsters showcase and play Fame instruments during their concerts and across their social media platforms.
The Sixsters, a band made up of girls, have just released a new album called “To Be Continued…” in March 2024. This album is a big deal for them because it shows how much they’ve grown as musicians and people. They’re older now and see the world in a different way, and they’ve put all these feelings into their new songs. Making this album brought up a lot of emotions like happiness, hope, and faith in themselves and what they do.
The lead singer, Maria, says the album is full of different feelings, each song telling a story from their own experiences. They hope their music can help people going through similar things and bring joy and brightness into their lives.
Looking ahead, The Sixsters have big plans for 2024. They want to keep making great music and attract more fans. One of their dreams is to compete in Eurovision for Germany in 2024. They also want to reach out internationally and have partnered with a German publisher called “Media Luchs” to help spread their music across Europe. Their songs are already playing on the radio and they’re climbing the Metal Rock Radio Chart, currently at 18th place.
