DENIS CHIMENTI

Denis Chimenti was born in Livorno on 9 July 1979. He started playing at the age of 12 fascinated by the notes of Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, and many others. After a very short time, he started taking private lessons. Growing up quickly as a guitarist and in musical listening that are becoming more and more demanding, he feels the need to further his studies and so at 19 he enrolled at Lizard Academy of Fiesole where he graduated with full marks in Rock guitar. Shortly thereafter he begins his professional career which sees him participating in numerous live performances and studio sessions. He also became a guitar teacher on behalf of various music schools including the high school institute “Galileo Galilei” in Livorno. In 2009, together with his friend Luca Fuligni, he opened the “Chorus Accademia Musicale” in Livorno, a school that still boasts over 300 enrollments a year. 2013 is the year that his first solo work “Imagination” comes to life, an almost all instrumental album, except three tracks entrusted to the voice of Luca Fuligni. In 2019 he was asked to collaborate as a session player in the live shows with the “Strana Officina” real own pioneers of Italian heavy metal, collaboration still in activity
